At arrival, December 5, no one was in the office at 10:30pm. I called several times, but no one answered. The clerk was outside the building 10 flights down. Once checked in, the shower was clogged and the room was dark and depressing. We were transferred to 1204, on Saturday, December 6. The TV did not work, i notified the front at 2:07pm, before leaving the hotel to enjoy our mini vacation. We arrived back at 1030pm, still no TV. WE DID NOT HAVE TV SERVICE UNTIL Sunday, December 7, at approximately 4pm. This Hilton location is the absolute worse. It is filthy, outdated, the beds and carpeting needs replacing. My husband stayed out longer than we would have because we did not want to be there

The room I booked was over the back that faces another building. I seen other suites and they all had city views and lots of windows. I asked to switch and they gave me a room with small twin queens with a city view but being 6’4” you can understand I had to sleep sideways to fit on the bed. No free breakfast, no free parking, pool wasn’t heated, out of three elevators only one worked. There is a weird sex club across the street and every door there was busted and barely closed without throwing your shoulder out to close it. Overall it should be a minus 4 if it was in a third world country.

This was a great location, and my room was both excellent and well maintained. It's the little, easy to fix things this Hilton needs to focus on. For example, how hard is it to keep water, coffee and tea in the lobby for guests? Second, you had floor space dedicated to a small store in the lobby but it was very poorly maintained and had the look of a 1970s era Soviet grocery store. Finally, a little training for front desk staff would go a long way.
