Enjoy your morning coffee on your own private outdoor space, spend your afternoons exploring scenic hiking trails, tranquil lakes, waterfalls and the coast, and unwind in the evening with a movie and a glass of wine. This quiet, thoughtfully designed home is your perfect base.

We are within walking distance to Westwood lake, where you can enjoy a hike around the lake or relax on the beach while the kids play in the sand. We are only a 10 minute drive to Nanaimo's ocean front boardwalk, where you can watch the sailboats or eat at the quaint fish and chip shop located on the wharf.

Are you seeking adventure or a connection to nature - We are 15 minutes from Ammonite Waterfalls, or 20 minutes to Neck Point where you can kayak and paddleboard while the seals sun themselves. During cooler seasons, the nearby pool and arena offer opportunities for skating a swimming.

Although we do not have a kitchen, we have everything you need to enjoy your stay. You'll find a list of our favorite local dining spots in the guidebook. If you have an extended stay, there is a laundromat minutes away.

Nippard’s Nest is a beautiful and clean, modern and light filled apartment close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Beds were super comfy, blackout shades and. Getting there and checking in was super easy. I highly recommend for comfort and convenience. Luxe lodging at a reasonable price!

Nice clean and quiet option if needing a short stay. Realize there is no cooking beyond a microwave but if doing pizza or other take out, they have all the necessary utensils if in need and 5 cu ft refrigerator to keep beverages cold. Nice and comfortable beds for a great night sleep. Only issue for us albeit a minor one was the motion activated light in the bathroom would shut off in less than a minute so if taking a shower at night when dark or sitting still on toilet the light will shut off and there's no manual override.

Very clean, well appointed suite with extremely comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood.Great location close to all the amenities we required. The host ( Dhana) was exceptional in communicating and responding in a timely manner. The suite was exactly as described in the pictures. Would highly recommend this property.

My teen son and I were in Nanaimo for a dance competition. Host was extremely welcoming and left clear entry instructions as well as provided a list of local recommendations within the area. The unit is updated, clean, and very comfortable. The beds are very big! With tons of blanket layers so you can choose how warm you want to be. Also, very cozy big pillows. There were several little extras such as dedicated parking, blackout curtains, umbrellas, slippers, cream in the fridge etc. And it was super QUIET! Definitely an A stay for us.

Dhana und Chad waren sehr nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr schönes Apartment und sehr sauber. Kaffee und Tee wurde uns zu Verfügung gestellt und sogar ein paar Tüten Chips zum knabbern Ein Parkplatz vor der Tür ebenfalls vorhanden. Wir konnten immer um etwas bitten und wir wurden auch gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert
