Clean and comfortable.
Perfect spot for a one night trip to Nanaimo. Reasonably priced and clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. A little traffic noise but that was solved by closing there bedroom door.

I love how close the Buccaneer is to the ferry! I stayed in Room 205 and I found it very cute and pleasant. A highlight for me was the fully stocked kitchenette with many essentials, that are not usually present in other motels or hotels that I have stayed at. I also appreciate the friendly welcome at the reception by Leanne. I have been looking forward to stay there and am so glad I finally did!

Don't let the age of this property fool you. It has been renovated and has several "boutique hotel" style amenities. The owners/staff pride themselves in the cleanliness of the room, and rightly so. There are just too many pluses to list.....We would definitely stay again and would have no hesitation in recommending this property. If you do stay here, take note of the art work on the walls and the custom-made curtain rods, finials and metal sculptures. Not your typical assembly-line items.
