Friendly welcome by Julie (lodger).
- Good location, tidy, friendly and cheap.
- Building is old (needs refreshing inside).
- The heating was way way way too high. Julie was not willing to turn down the heater.... "it was preset by her husband (who is an electrician) and the temperature was right".
Overall: Cheap stay but bring shorts and T's for the lodge.
"Treat yourself to a little comfort at The Duck Inn"
From when we arrived to checkout, the service at Duck Inn was seamless, friendly and above all spot on. The location of the lodge was handy with a short walk to the shuttle stop - and if you wanted a wander down to the Village - a short 10 minute walk.
The room was presented well (quality fittings) and comfortable for our stay. I must admit it has the best drying room EVER!
The food (dinner and breakfast) was included with our stay - once again fantastic food, served with the friendliest staff. The staff themselves were great- they worked as a team, happy to be there and treated all guests equally - from families to couples- they were a step ahead of the game
I would highly recommend Duck Inn and will be definitely back next year
Nice place to stay close proximity to everything good food . Clean and tastefull but although the rooms look very solid(concrete) you may find it hard to nod off because the neighbours farting or sceaming kids is audible. Bring your earplugs and enjoy your stay.
We are a skiing family from Sydney who travel frequently to both NSW and Vic resorts with 2 young boys who ski race. Ann the owner and proprietor of Enzian Hotel and her friendly staff provided a very high quality of service making our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Our rooms were of a good size with a lovely bathroom and very well presented. The continental breakfast provided is excellent and it was no problem to open the breakfast room early on race days. The restaurant is particularly good and his always busy so be sure to book early either at breakfast or the night before.
