We checked in at 7:30 PM on Friday and checked out at 10:00 AM on Sunday. The property itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, our overall experience was affected by the female house manager's approach. We did not feel particularly welcomed upon arrival, and throughout our stay we often felt closely monitored. While we understood the need to clean the kitchen after use, we were frequently reminded to clean as we went, and she would often stand nearby or explain how to use appliances each time we used them. Although we appreciate she was likely trying to help, it made us feel uncomfortable. There were no lockers provided, and guests were asked to leave their shoes downstairs. Unfortunately, my daughter's snow boots went missing. We were also advised that we could not invite a friend for dinner due to building regulations. While we respect the rules, this added to our disappointment. Because we did not feel comfortable, we spent our first night at another lodge and only returned for the final night to make our early check-out easier. For $1,882 from Friday evening until Sunday morning, we did not feel the overall experience represented good value. The accommodation was lovely, but the guest experience did not meet our expectations.

Holiday Disaster

Word of Warning! If you're a family who wanted a good holiday, you better look somewhere else. We are a family of 8, paid top $$$ to this lodge. We're expecting to relax & have fun but ended up having a bad experience here.We experienced being made fun by 4 drunk blokes who are starting trouble to one of our family member,it could get more worst if we didn't call the managers Rhys & Jenna as they are not aware of the trouble thats happening. We also had trouble with 2 girls pulling out our laundry in the middle of the washing cycle, its in the basket, it stunk and dripping wet (never heard people can jsut do this),It ended up that these 2 are friends of one of the Manager Jenna. When we asked them why did they do that, Maddi said it's their privilege to use the laundry as members of ski club,I wondered, we're guest who paid in full & didn't know that members have rights to pull our your laundry in the middle of the cycle. The laundry is the part of the package & one of the reasons why we chose to stay here, but never thought they'd be rude people like this.I ended up rewashing our clothes,I was stressed rushing until the last minute of our check out. The managers didn't even apologies or said anything at all.They thanked everyone else by us.We are saying this as so no one would experience what we had.The place is near the attractions & have a very basic breakfast but we will never ever forget this bad experience we had in this lodge.Place could be perfect with good Management

Nice lodge, closer to bus stop

The room is clean and comfortable, and most importantly the heater is functioning, especially in this winter time, not only in the room but also in bathroom as well. The owner is very friendly and we did enjoy a lot during the stay. Definitely will recommend this lodge to friends.
