Very clean room. Liked the brick wall. Couldn’t turn down the temperature. Was very hot. Had to keep opening the door to let heat out throughout the night. Came back from dinner we went to the bar for a quick drink. When in the bar. A couple of people came up to us and said that a private party was taking place. Why didn’t they put the party in a conference room instead of closing the bar on a Saturday night. The staff was very friendly. The door and valet was especially great.

clean room, snacks were amazing, staff was nice enough, not too much hovering nor much accommodation either. No one asked how my stay was nor if anything could be approved. I didn't appreciate the shift in service after my discover card was declined for the security deposit. The tone was soured after that. The hotel itself is located in the perfect location. Access to everything, with a great variety of restaurants, walking, public transportation and shopping. I would stay there again, with slightly different expectations. They were even kind enough to hold my luggage for me before check in, so I didn't have to lug it around while I waited

Staff were all lovely, room was great and at some point I had a surprise gratis bottle of wine delivered. I have no idea why. My main comment is the same one I leave about all hotels: there is no information in the room about either the hotel, local restaurant or other store options, hints about the neighbourhood, nothing .../that used to be standard. No I do not want to spend my time peering at my phone and doing all the work myselof, this is so unwelcoming. Meanwhile there are some odd things about the hotel--they are in process of getting key card system fixed, i was up and down multiple times to the lobby for help (maybe this is why the wine?) Room service absolutely did not function...either nobody answered in the restaurant or the front desk, or they answered and said the rrestaurant must be busy. Do you have room service or don't you? In this case, we'll get back to you but didn't call the room and I finally gave up and had crackers for dinner. Not such a big deal but the weather was horrific and touristy area overpriced both restaurants. In decent weather there are affordable options nearby. So that's fine but if you advertise room service your guests may not have check out those options before too late. Overall a lovely hotel. I did get the 20% off spa, which was nice except the appointment was delayed for half an hour on an hour apppointment so it was half what it s hould be (small discount but not half). Overall impression lovely hotel but understaffed.
