Arrived on a Sunday just after the 3:00 PM check in time but unfortunately our room wasn’t ready. We waited an hour for it to be cleaned. We were travelling with our 3 year old and my husband had a work event he needed to be at and couldn’t change his clothes and prepare in time. The reception told us due to Valentine’s Day the suites were left in a bad state and that is whybwe had to wait. Once we got in the suite things were ok - it was spacious, great views, well stocked and a good size for a 1 bedroom suite. The next morning revealed how dirty it still was - there were chalky white hand prints all over the headboard of the bed (I’m praying they weren’t bodily fluids) and sticky gel tape stuck all over the ceilings and door frames. The reception was unable to assist us because we booked through Expedia so we had to deal with a few issues. Usually this is a great spot - perfect location, great breakfast and close to all the best places in Montreal but we had bad luck this trip.

I was pleasantly suprised by our stay at this hotel with only being below 4 stars. The rooms were spotless but not only that each room had a stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Also the free breakfast was great and location to old port, chinatown was a bonus. Would defintely stay again
