Conveniently located and situated in central downtown. Everything is walkable or easily accessible by transit. Hotel was in excellent shape with all necessary amenities, which made our 3 day stay feel like home away from home. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, buffet was tasty with a wealth of options for guests to choose from. Only two things to note was the room safety lock for the door was broken. Also, the mental door stopper on the ground is not the best placement as you're constantly hitting your foot on it when accessing the armour. Overall great stay and experience at Novotel Montréal! We would highly recommend and come back.

Mostly positive. Quick check in and check out. It’s so close to St Catherine street with all the shops and restaurants. Close to subway and buses and very walkable too. Gym is great. Hotel is clean and maintained. Diligent room service. Had a very unpleasant encounter with a staff at the restaurant, would recommend to provide mandatory sensitivity training regarding race.

Great location!

Great stay at Novotel! Exceklent location, close to all the shops and restaurants, and not too far from the metro station (about 10 min walk). Our room is spacious and clean. Amenities included Nespresso coffee pods (limited to 2 per day) and tea. The only con is no fridge in the room, unless you ask it to be unlocked and potentially charged for mini bar items. Appreciate having shampoo etc. in larger refillable bottles. There is parking attached for a daily fee. There's construction right in front of the hotel so it was a bit tricky to get to the hotel, but reception was very helpful in providing directions. Overall a great stay!

Terrible, not worth your money. Food stains on the Sheets when we got there. Next day they didn’t come clean our room til 4:30pm then tried to blame us for not putting the sign out for cleaning (confirmed with manager you do not need to put a sign out). They came back at 4:45 and rushed us while I’m standing there in a towel. Told them to come back later and the cleaning lady said her shift ends at 5. Breakfast buffet is a joke

Clean and comfortable. Central location. View was atrocious looking down at a rat infested ally and homeless sleeping among them. At the end of the day, we would return to our room and play a game called ‘count the rats”. Funny and gross all at the same time. We can’t find a reason to return to Montreal as a family. It’s more of an adult trip/city.

Very enjoyable. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Only downfall is challenging parking for tall vehicles. It’s downtown and to be expected! Walkable distance to so many restaurants and boutiques.

My only criticism is that our room had only one USB output functioning, and the washroom fan wasn’t working. (If someone from Novotel is reading this, it was room # 412). Everything else was perfect! I will definitely be back whenever I am visiting Montréal.
