No frills, decent place.

Decent hotel, a place to feel safe and secure for a couple days. No luxury, and the continental breakfast was minimal, blow dryer in room didn’t work. Still, I was working with a limited budget and got what I paid for.

The room was perfect for our family's needs. The cleanliness of the bathroom was iffy. Everything else was clean. The continental breakfast could use more. They had thawed eggo waffles and slices of white bread. Yogurt and cereal as you food options.

For the price it was well worth it, you’re right in the center of everything it felt like since driving down to Monterey was a 15 minute drive same thing as fisherman’s wharf and cannery row it was not all far, driving to Carmel was only like 20 minutes as well it was quiet which was surprising since it was on a pretty busy street and the room was clean. The only issue we faced was one of the lights in the bathroom was out and the light on our night stand kept flickering but we weren’t in the room all day just there to sleep and shower so it was perfect for those nights.

I had a late change of plans, so this was a last minute reservation. Arrived late, left early. It's clearly an older property, but the interiors have been redone nicely. It was a comfortable stay.

The soundproofing is very poor. After 10 PM, the noise from children running around in the second-floor room is very loud and disturbing.

The tile floors were disgusting and obviously hadn’t been cleaned very well. They were gritty and horrible to walk on with bare feet. Breakfast was frozen eggos, toast, or cereal.

It is good for money, not too bad room, but territory some dangerous and no have parkink for checking, you need be ready to hear .."it is my place". Breakfast includet, but it is only yougurt and serial and toasted bread or waffles... it is not bed for one night and if for your work , but if you looks for your vacation in Monterey better if looks another place...

Our shower pressure water was very low , we asked if we could move rooms we were told there was no vacancy , even tho the sign on the hotel stated “vacancy” . Also when I called to book my room I asked what type of breakfast was served because we were traveling as a family of 5 . I was told there was a warm breakfast, (eggs, waffles, potatoes ) my husband went to get us breakfast , there was no eggs , no potatoes . There was cereal , bread yogurt and juice . There wasn’t any fruit . I was highly upset . There weren’t any other hotels available in the area , I asked for my night to be refunded and they would only refund me for one night if I was checking out that same day. Due to no other hotels being available that weekend I had to stay there . I’d never stay at this hotel again. Wouldn’t recommend either .

Worse Stay

Worst beds I’ve sleeped on. Room was dirty! No conditioner …cheap dry hand soap. Paper thin walls…so much noise! No proper blankets. Never again
