I am writing to formally report an extremely poor and unacceptable experience during our recent stay at your property. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and it falls far below the standards expected of a hotel operating under the Radisson brand.
We checked in at approximately 10:00 PM. Upon reaching our room, the key card did not work, forcing us to return to the front desk while already exhausted. Once we finally entered the room, we discovered there were no water bottles provided, which is a basic and standard amenity. To make matters worse, the intercom/phone in the room did not work, so I had to search for the hotel’s phone number online just to contact the front desk.
When I called to request water, I was told to bring our own container and come downstairs to fill it ourselves. This required yet another trip to the lobby late at night. Shortly after, we discovered there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. At that point, we were too exhausted to go down yet again.
The room itself was in very poor condition:
- Multiple dirty stains throughout the room
- The bathtub sank when someone stood in it, which is a serious safety concern
- Towels were extremely cheap, synthetic, and unpleasant to use
- Almost no proper lighting, only two small lamps
- The TV controls were locked, leaving us stuck on a single channel (MTV)
- The ironing board was dusty
