Loved the room. We had a free upgrade for some reason. The view was spectacular. The staff was lovely and friendly. Top notch. Clean room, nice pools and beach. Beautiful landscaping. Super expensive drinks and food—we did not do an all inclusive package. Price takes your breath away even with strong dollar. Food not worth the cost; very mediocre. But we had a nice time.

Bar staff not attentive. Slow to get drinks at pool, down by beach sand chairs, and by the Bella restaurant. Food was not fresh or hot when buffet style. Only fresh made to order tacos and sports bar was alright. Otherwise, we were full, but never satisfied. The handout provided in check-in was inaccurate and didn't show where the restaurants were.

Get proper beds not 2 beds put together with foam on them that does not cover the entire bed and sheets that need to be put on sideways to cover and small ones up the middle to get all tangled up on. You could even sew them so they fit properly. Also fix your steamers, no one meal was ever hot, always luke warm if that. Get actual concierges to help instead of ones that say they are as they only will help until you tell them you are not going to their sales pitch. First thing before you even get to look at the place and they are trying to sign you up...how about promoting your place and showing people around and explaining the amenities. I realize your construction was for another eating place, or at least thats what it looks like, but our 2 weeks was spent listening to jack hammers, it was not relaxing at all. Have to give you that the place was clean, and you did have some very nice staff. Luz at towel area was a delight as well as 1 young man at poolside but I can not remember his name, he was also great, go out and watch him, he never stops with the guests, he goes, goes goes.

No longer a water slide at pool as illustrated. Courtyard was under construction every day with drilling and jack hammering near the pool. No indication at booking time place was under construction. Hard to relax. At check in, staff weren't overly knowledgeable and it took 40 mins to check in is and my parents. Then we're were bothered to do a tour after the 40 min check in. Had a much better experience here a few years back. I'll be choosing somewhere else next time

Their extensive remodeling is almost complete and the place looks wonderful! We’ve gone there many times. There was never anything wrong, just dated. The biggest improvement is the sports bar. It seems like they have 20 screens and the food is good. So is the staff. The manager Jorge is very attentive and eager to offer the best experience possible. I also like the new covered breakfast area. The evening shows are now being held there. Very professional performances. One thing that stands out the most is the greeting upon arrival. Armando the head bellman has the biggest smile, runs an efficient operation and somehow remembers your name after the first time!

The room was very clean. Every time we came back to the room there was a musty smell. We would open the door to clear it up. The staff was incredible. The food for pool bar service was great .
