Nostalgic chic
Michael and Betty are superstars. Michael tailors his recommendations based on your needs. He listens, appears genuinely interested and advises well. The front of the hotel is very noisy from street noise. We are light sleepers and didn’t get much sleep first night. We shared this (not to complain) with Betty and she moved us to a quiet one at the back. Made our stay enjoyable. There are no coffee machines in the rooms. Nor microwaves. I think they could easily place a microwave in the hallway on each floor. And why in 2024 there isn’t a coffee machine in each room is bizarre. Right, moaning over. This is a lovely hotel. The bar, coffee shop next door are excellent. As are the staff. It’s historic and charming. Plan your stay around the quirks and step back in time. We loved it

The staff , especially Michael are friendly , informative and welcoming . The Edmond is a great place to enjoy a meal and a drink . The corner bakery has delicious baked goods , the staff is friendly and the coffee , delicious .

Room was nice & clean little noisy at times with the cars buzzing by (room 209) didn’t like the parking lot situation with the bar/restaurant. Hotel guests should always have spaces by the building Staff very nice & helpful Thanks for everything.

Such a great hotel for the price. Staff were amazing. When you go, talk to Michael he was so helpful with all the tips and tricks and made a priority to remember our name and greeted us everytime. It’s a little far from any landmarks but a quick Uber ride will get you anywhere you need to go. It’s an older hotel so the history is pretty cool. I would stay here again.

The room is small and basic it’s basically a spot to sleep. Don’t let that fool you it’s also clean easy access and the place had a fun bar and good menu I would recommend the place.

The property is beautiful and clean. The check in was on time. The service great. No breakfast at the property. The only inconvenience I found was the limited places to eat around the property. Also to go to the attractions like Walk of Fame and Griffith Observatory you need a car, no walking distance.

Great location in LA with parking onsite (although it does come at an additional cost). The room was very dated and had a horrible musty smell. The room was fairly clean but the hairdryer was broken and the wifi didn't work.

Good experience overall. the hotel staff provided excellent room service (every day free water, clean towels) ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The rooms were spacious with ample windows offering views of iconic Hollywood sign. However, it was a bit disappointing to find no coffee or tea-making facilities in the room, coz it's right by the roadside, the incessant noise from traffic sometimes made it difficult to relax in the room. Additionally, it can be very dusty in the room. The hotel also charges parking fee 18$ per night.
