Good value for money. Hotel is a bit out of the way for the main areas of LA for restaurants or shops but with the local buses or taxi then you can get to most places. The hotel does have a bar area that serves food and drink with an outside area. The rooms were a good size with fridge and storage space. Very clean with fresh linen and towels.

This property is great for the price! If you like historic buildings this place is great! Close to all the Hollywood/LA attractions. There is a great restaurant attached to the hotel and a cute bakery right next door for coffee and breakfast. The staff was absolutely wonderful!!! We would definitely stay here again!

I chose this place because I thought it would be an easy drive to Universal studios, and it had cheap-ish parking compared to other hotels. Overall, it was fine. The restaurant and bar were excellent, but overall my feelings are neutral. I would stay here again if I had to.

A specific bad smell, the air conditioning is too weak, the bathroom is small, there are no cups for drinks and no coffee on the property, but it is clean and quiet - this is a big advantage of this place, but the prices are too high for these conditions. We were a bit disappointed. Good coffee and croissants are on the corner of the street near the hotel. There is only one gas station and a liquor store near the hotel. We didn't see any people walking around, but when we checked, the area is safe.
