We had stayed in Z hotels before so kind of knew what to expect. Staff were friendly and polite. The tiny room was clean and housekeeping was eager- perhaps a little too so. The bar area was brightly lit throughout the evening, making it not somewhere that you would want to stay for long. The wine and cheese was perfunctory with poor choices of cheese and no charcuterie. One glass of wine per person. Z Hotels are cheap and this particular one was really well located. Other budget hotels manage to elevate the experience, not Z Hotels though. What you see is what you get. I would say that it is useful for a night or two in order to see a play. Any longer would be possibly problematic as the small size of the rooms just isn’t big enough for 2 people to stay longer comfortably.
