We got a good deal on this three star hotel by combining our three nights stay with an Aer Lingus flight from Cork Ireland. Although the main lobby was closed due to renovations, we were not inconvenienced as the entrance to our room was in a different part of the building. The room was huge and had all the conveniences we needed. It was located within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, and there was a tube station to get to other London attractions

Room was not ready at check-in time. Horrific construction noise in the lobby made it impossible to talk to the front desk staff. The elevator was very noisy, keeping us awake until very late. After making a reservation we were surprised to learn the Bombay Brasserie was far away from the hotel. All of these things diminished our experience at this otherwise fabulous hotel.

We had a two-night stay. Location is great for access to subway and surrounding attractions. The hotel was undergoing updates. The only negative regarding our stay was the sound of the subway at night. The room was clean and nice.

The staff is one of the best things about the St. James’ Court hotel. They are courteous, friendly and extremely attentive. The rooms are nice and very comfortable and the bathrooms are very modern. Great location that is close to the Tube, Buckingham Palace, and walkable distance to Trifalgar Square and Covent Garden and the theatre district.

Beautiful hotel, with great furnishings. Room was well equipped and the aircon/heating worked well. The towels were very large and luxuriously weighty and were changed each day in spite of them being on the hooks. The spa was excellent. Breakfast was average and the room was very crowded with tables too close together. The buffet area was very conjested. Overall, a not very great breakfast experience. Noticed on the menu, the charge was £60 (although it was included in our room rate). Certainly not worth that. The hotel is situated close to St James Underground with good connections. The staff in reception and in the breakfast room provided excellent service.
