One USB socket for charging 2 phones, 2 iPads and 2 watches is not acceptable. To make it worse the charge speed was very slow. We had to wake to change devices in the middle of the night. Otherwise hotel was good

The property itself was in a very good location. My problem is that when we had booked for 2 adults and a child and paid for it, we were then being asked for £35.00 extra for a bed. This was not appreciated and I refused to pay. The booking was done with the right number if people and it was extremely disappointing that the hotel was trying to take money from us in top of the agreed cost that was already paid. This had to be escalated to their manager as I refused to pay anything extra. Sense prevailing onto them they backed down. Point to note if you are going to take extra money make it clear on booking. Do not let people book and then try to take more money from them. Disappointing really.

The Sofitel at Heathrow has been my go to when transiting through London. Ready access to the city via the Underground or the Express, rental cars and a straight shot into BA. The breakfast buffet is a fresh, diverse and healthy respite after a night in the hotel. The rooms are modern, but warm and comfortable.

Amazing Stay at Sofitel London Heathrow Terminal 5 – Perfect for family Travelers! We had an incredible overnight stay at the Sofitel London Heathrow Terminal 5. The location couldn’t be more convenient for early flights—it’s literally just a 30-minute walk from your room, through security (with no wait during our visit), straight to your gate. No shuttle buses or taxis needed! The staff were exceptionally kind and gracious, with a special shoutout to Aartee at the front desk for her warm welcome and helpful check-in. 😊 The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long journey. And the breakfast buffet? Absolutely outstanding—fresh pastries, hot dishes, fruits, and more, all beautifully presented and delicious. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip through Heathrow!
