Lovely hotel. I was told my room was upgraded, but it didn’t seem to be significantly different than what I had booked. Having said that, we would stay again. I had chosen the hotel for its close proximity to the terminal and intended to take the Hoppa bus to the terminal in the morning,but was warned by the helpful concierge that it could by a 30-40 minute journey so we booked a taxi instead which cost £20.

Worst hotel service of my life!

We didn't get two single beds as requested, and I had to call room service/reception four - four!! - times to get a second duvet. They we're all "very sorry, Madam" but very, very non-helpful. It quite ruined our weekend, and I am NEVER coming back. I am also reconsidering using hotels.com for my reservations in the future as I suspect that the mishap somehow all started because I'd booked via hotels.com.

I booked 2 twin rooms and was given 2 doubles. Had to swap one of the rooms. Food in the restaurant is over priced and a service charge was added on. Not acceptable for a major hotel chain. I refused to pay it. The £50 deposit per room is pointless as nobody checked our room for damage anyway also the final bill was one big mess due to incompetence from the reception staff. Don’t stay here the Marriott next door is much better

the view from the room is terrible. big wall at 4 feet from a large glass window of the room.you can barely see the sun light. they could have added few artificial plants between the room and the big wall in front of it.
