It is a big American conference hotel, a bit dated, the room was perfectly fine for an overnight stay. The restaurant food was again fine but nothing special and they asked for a gratuity in addition to the 12.5% service charge, which I always hate.

The facility was not well-maintained. Unlike in other hotels, the door didn't close properly (needed an extra push to lock). The carpet was dirty, the bathroom was very dirty, lots of spots on the floor and the counter. Poor quality bedding. The room was spacious, and other amenities were good.

No sleep-hotel fire alarm faulty floor 3-very poor

Stayed here as a family of 4 on 14/7/25, 2 rooms booked well in advance but after a lengthy protracted check in, allocated 2 rooms 3 floors apart. Had contacted the hotel 4 times asking for nearby rooms, gave up in the end with reception as check in took so long and we were tired after a long train journey. Long haul flight next day so went to bed to get a decent night’s sleep and rest at 10:30pm. Between 2 and 3:30am woken up 6 times by the hotel fire alarm. We stayed in room 3008. Had to get dressed in the end and go downstairs with several other residents on the same corridor who were also repeatedly disturbed. Reception said ‘they were dealing with the fire alarm issue’ and ‘ another guest has triggered the alarm with a hairdryer’. Eventually fire alarm silenced at 3:30am. Sleep and rest and peace totally destroyed then. Had to get up early and travel to airport. Check out reception not interested and did not apologise. Subsequently shattered for entire long haul flight duration. Travelled all around USA for the following 2 weeks, stayed in multi hotels, all managed to accommodate the request for adjacent rooms and managed not to disturb sleep with a faulty hotel fire alarm. Hotel fire alarms should be able to cope with guests using hairdryers. On return to UK contacted Radisson Blu 3 times to ask for a refund or partial refund. All messages ignored- both those sent through website and those through hotels. Com. Unimpressive customer service.

The Radisson Blu Heathrow, London is a large, attractive and clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. Our room was large and clean, with a comfortable bed. The A/C is not the kind of old-fashioned noisy window unit common in North America. It's efficient and far quieter. The bathtub/shower is European style, only half enclosed. The bathroom had no bar soap. The body wash container was empty, so since that and shampoo are essentially both just mild detergents, I used the shampoo as soap. One serious problem: the side of the bathtub is too high, it’s hard to step over the side, easy to slip and fall. Some hotels that include breakfast provide only mediocre dishes featuring the likes of assembly line white bread and ultra-processed meats. The Radisson Blu Heathrow London, on the other hand, is typical of many European hotels where we’ve stayed over the years. Its breakfast buffet provides a variety of good quality foods for most tastes. Fresh fruits, several fresh and cooked vegetables, a few different adult (i.e., not loaded with sugar) cereals, a few meats, real sour dough bread and a couple others, pastries. And an espresso machine that provides different coffees for most tastes. If you want a hotel near Heathrow airport, this is one I recommend. Just be careful using the shower.

Staff were very pleasant and wanted to help. Property felt run down. Threadbare carpets in some areas outside lifts, room decor very dated. Was staying the night before a flight, did not get much sleep due to noise. Comfy mattress though the best ever! The bed frame round the bed was very irritating and painful as you kept walking into it. Would stay elsewhere next time.

When I checked in I was told that I booked a room with one double bed or two twin beds. I know and have the receipt for a supreme room with a king size bed. The staff member said he would talk to the manager and came back to say he could put me in a room with a king size bed but when we got upstairs the bed was definitely smaller than a king. Our universal adapters didn’t fit in the outlets but that could have been on us, I don’t know. What really struck me though, was that we had to pay for breakfast and we had to pay for the shuttle to Heathrow. This may be a culture thing, in America these things are typically free
