Very nice buffet breakfast. Nice bar and restaurant area inside, terrace was a little uninviting; folded chairs and untidy tables. Room ok but a little tired, nice tea tray and toiletries, comfy bed and good size tv, room for a fridge but no fridge and the aircon wasn't working. No free parking so had to pay £15 for the one night stay.

Judgemental bar/restaurant staff.
Room was just like a premier inn or Travelaodge but with better quality furniture. When we asked for a table in the restaurant the member off staff asked the bar manager and we was just dismissed and told they were full when they had 3/4 of tables empty. We obviously didn’t fit in with their clientele and was just dismissed. Made our stay uncomfortable and we couldn’t wait to leave next morning.

Hotel not as good as it was 2 years ago as Bliss. Exactly the same decoration but really tired looking now. The attempts at covering the Bliss logo not very successful. Breakfast was 2 star with no service. Everything self service.

We where extremely unhappy with the last night of our stay, the Hotel held an event and the music was extremely loud until midnight. My wife and I and our 2x Children could not sleep until after midnight and we had a 5-6 hour drive home early the next morning. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the event on the 1st floor – we where not pre-warned at check in or during our stay or offered a room further away from the extremely loud basslines vibrating through our room. The Decibel reading averaged 37.1 and maxed at 76.4 – and that was taken from inside our room using an iPhone. We made our dissatisfaction known to the hotel upon checkout, where asked to leave my name and number but have heard nothing since.

Modern accessible hotel in great location.
Lovely modern highly accessible hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. I could make one small negative comment, when I was waiting to check in and the staff male member on reception consciously decided to ignore me and answer the phone, which I never really get. How can answering a phone call be more important than attending to a client, who is right in front of you, and who has already been waiting for some time? Simple, it can’t, and it’s pure ignorance and only serves to vex your all-important customers. This said, everyone else throughout the stay were all really helpful and generally nice. The main entrance could do with a little bit of TLC, otherwise the hotel has a really nice feel to it and the location is superb. We ate in the restaurant and the food was OK, but the drinks were very expensive. Overall we really like the place, but next time would look to stay on level 3 or above to benefit from a better view.
