The staff were friendly and very helpful nothing was a problem. The room we had 34 was poor. The carpet was badly stained. The shower was old and in need of an update. In fact the whole room was shabby.

It is what it is, a means for a cheap stop over. Staff weren’t helpful when checking in, basically thrown the key and told to sign a piece of paper and pointed to the flight of stairs. I wouldn’t expect a quiet nights sleep as Walls are paper thin. Great modern rooms, just a pity everything else is lacking. Suggest staying at Penneshaw where’s there’s a bit more variety in dining and the like.

Nice place but need to book early for dinner, as we got there at about 4.30 we were to late. Luckily they provide room service, food was good but would have been nice to be able to get table in restaurant.

We stayed in a three-storey townhouse, good view of the bay. Day 1 shambles, we contacted the hotel prior to our arrival as per the booking criteria, we stated we would be there at 2:00 pm. On arrival, we were told that cleaning was running behind time, so we had a coffee. 45 minutes later we asked again told we still had to wait, time for a beer. 30 minutes later we were given the all the clear. Went to the townhouse and the cleaners were still finishing? The food in the restaurant is good, just poor service.

The Townhouses is our highest room types and it has the largest areas to maintain. As you may aware, since it has three storeys and more than a one bedroom, it takes more time to clean compare to a normal size room. Our housekeepers also try to not rush in cleaning the townhouses, ensuring the high quality and expectation to be maintained throughout your stay. I understand your frustration that you have to wait for extended period of time, however this is to ensure that everything is spotless during your stay. I noted your comments regarding the food and customer service as well. I appreciate your comment and we always evaluate ourself to improve for a better experience. Room was clean, very noisy from the direct road outside & being on the lower ground could hear people above moving around. Balcony view is of motor vehicles parked on the street, and being on street level had to keep the curtains closed at all times.
