We had to shorten our stay to one night due to the storm but we would definitely stay there again! The rooms were exceptional and the staff was so pleasant. They helped us find a place to have dinner that included vegetarian options and called us a taxi for the night. So helpful and friendly!

Great hotel with great amenities but the bed was the worst ive ever slept on. It was soo hard that i had to use a pillow to sleep on. In the morning I had a very sore back. Facilities in the hotel were great. Amazing swimming pool and gym. Bar was good and restaurant served good food. A more varied pub menu would be a good addition.

Staff was hit or miss, it is an old hotel that is starting to show its age. The beds are firm and old feeling, the toilet in our room was loose from the wall and our bathroom radiator didn't work. The pool is small, shallow and old also, the hot tub wasn't hot and the pool cold. From the outside it looks like a great hotel, but afyer staying here i would say pass and choose a different one. Food in restaurant was good, but portions were tiny even by european standards. Its hard to pay £54 for 2 pieces of pork tenderloin and a 3cm by 8cm piece of pork belly with bones. Didn't bother with breakfast so can't speak to that.

We had an issue at check-in and management was great for checking on us in the morning. We appreciated the quick response. Pool, hot tub, and steam room were excellent. Enjoyed our stay.

Was by far the best property we stayed in as we travelled from London through Scotland. We stayed in the executive rooms on the spa side. The rooms were spacious and clean. Being detached from the main building gave us all of the benefits of the hotel but a slightly quieter experience. James was very helpful when I asked for assistance with the phone and dinner recommendations off property. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay was excellent, the staff friendly and extremely helpful. Our only comment would be our room faced the main road and we could hear the traffic which disturbed our sleep the first night. Second night we slept like babies with earplugs. Other than that, the location, food and room were top notch.

We were told the room wasn’t ready until 4pm sharp, so we came back then… however there was still hair in the shower. The shampoo and conditioner pumps were faulty, and they were clearly never cleaned, only refilled. The showers have mold growing in every corner. We requested housekeeping to turn our room over while we were out, and we returned to find the bedspread had been pulled over and tucked in around a blanket that was half folded on the bed, and the pillows in disarray, as we had left them. They had replaced the towels however, so I suppose that’s “job done”. The beds were hard and I swear I could count the springs as I lay on them. The rooms feel worn out and could use some attention and perhaps maintenance as well as a deep clean.

Stayed here after an appointment at the nearby Raigmore Hospital. It made a lovely change from the normal 3 hour drive home. It’s convenient and the rooms are perfect. The a la carte menu is varied and delicious and the staff are a delight. Will definitely stay again.
