Reception staff were very helpful and made a big difference to the experience. Very central city location. Only had 2 single beds but they were very comfortable. Grand stair well but hotel was very tired throughout. Really needs major updates. Room was stuffy. Shower not consistently hot. Limited parking out front and very chaotic. Would not stay here again.

Absolutely lovely hotel to stay in in Inverness. The staircase is really beautiful and the room we stayed in was a good size and really clean. Breakfast in the morning was a continental which had plenty to chose from and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Most the the staff on reception were really helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help you if they could. Very convenient for the train and bus station and walking into the city centre itself. Would definitely stay here again.

Well located in the centre of Inverness, very limited car paking so it's pot luck if you get a space. The hotel has charm and impressive original features, for example the fabulous staircase. However, it is a bit tired and need of some internal redecoration. Good value for money.
