Room was small but very clean. Coffee and tea and a kettle were provided. Staff were very friendly, happy to help. Breakfast was so good a huge variety of food. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel was very convenient for Waverley Station and was easy to locate. The check in process was smooth and easy (despite us having arrived slightly early). The room was compact, clean and tidy with nice complimentary toiletries. A continental breakfast is included with your stay and we found there was plenty of choice and a good variety of breakfast items available. The staff are warm and friendly and keen to help. My only, minor issue with the hotel is that the room was hot during the night (for our taste) and we could not reduce the temperature on the aircon unit to less than 18C. We tried using the unit on max but it was noisy and opening the window increased the noise level so we tolerated the heat!

We randomly selected this hotel as we planned a last minute trip for Hogmanay Celebration because of its walkable proximity to Old Town and New Town. it was a lucky Home Run. We arrived early and the staff did their best to get us checked in before the usual 3 oclock after traveling all night. The room was quiet, clean and the bed was great!. It was more like a small boutique hotel than a corporate monster. Nice lobby sitting area with bar, water, coffee and drinks available. Breakfast was great with a large selection of fresh food to choose from. We were there for 6 nights so we got to know the staff who we often approached for suggestions or help. They all were great but hats off to Tatiyana and Adin who were the evening crew. Always, available, affable, and helpful. We will be back and it is a perfect place to stay in central Edinburgh

Great hotel for a short break. Centrally situated in pleasant area. Good quality continental breakfast included in price. Helpful/friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room and well furnished, although a tad on the small side. Modern shower/bathroom facilities. Good standard of housekeeping. Only gripe was second lift being out of action during our 3 day stay which led to some overlong waits to get to our room on the 5th floor.

My room was beautiful on the top floor. Breakfast is outstanding: fresh, and a huge selection, something for everyone! The location is incredible for walking to museums, Waverly Train Station, excellent eateries and Old Town.
