Hotel beds are way too firm! However the hotel will provide a topper if requested to make the bed softer! Starbucks in lobby! Lobby on 5 th floor so need to take separate elevator to go to room! Best black out curtains ever! Good wifi! Good breakfast! Shower only no tub! Wheel chair accessible entrance from the side! My favourite hotel in hkg is the ibis sheung wan! Just please make the mattresses softer!

There's strong cooking smell in the corridor outside our room, we told the staff in the reception but there's no improvement. There was dust under the bed and around the border of the head board through out our stay. The reception acted defensively on our complaints rather than listened to us to get a resolution. The 'kettle' in the room worked intermittently while there's no supply of bottled water. Condition of the room was poor in that corner of the shower room was broken & looked mouldy, curtains in the bedroom was filthy & mouldy in places. Side table on one bed bad been ribbed off hence no place to put essentials like mobile handset etc I had always liked Ibis but this stay put me off booking this hotel again.

I chose this property for the price and the name. I've stayed in many Ibis Hotels in Europe and thought they were decent. The check in was good, Henrick was VERY Helpful. The mattress was extremely firm. I had to ask for extra pillows, the ones provided were very thin. The maid service was a little odd. We had one knock on our door and before we could answer it, she came barging in to change the coffee pot. We didn't ask for this and I was in the middle of getting dressed. Peter in the bar was also very nice and helpful. The bell man were useless. They just stood around all day. Henrick helped us with our luggage and the cab. Loved the view from the 25th floor.

It’s is not what is shown on the images and it is not what is described. The next leg of our journey was also in an Ibis Hotel and the differences were clear. Simply this hotel in Hong Kong is dirty bad managed and certainly very expensive for what it is.
