Very polite and helpful. Reception were fantastic. Wish we could open a window. Had all we needed and was so close to dining and the hub of hobart. Walked everywhere.

The location was good & we enjoyed Hobart, however for over $900 for 2 nights we are disappointed. Creaky defective floorboards, loose defective bathroom fittings, limited bog roll, busted ironing board, nothing to cook on, woken at 330am by false alarm fire alarm & no communication on evacuation plan or muster point advised. Unfortunately can’t recommend unless I was offered something to make up for the hiccups, 2 out of 5 stars

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Please rest assured I will investigate this further and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We would also like to apologise for the disruption experienced during your stay. Fire alarms are an important safety measure and occur in all hotels from time to time. There are Emergency Evacuation Diagrams on all accommodation doors for guests to view advising what to do in the event of an alarm being activated. The fire alarm in question occurred due to one of the 'Fire break glass' on one of our floors being tampered with, two staff members were on site and communicated with all guests that had evacuated as per procedure. Location - proximity to Salamanca area & wharves for eating, photos & Mona. I was able to walk through the park and around the cafes etc easily and safely. Plus take great photos. This maximized my brief stay.
