Nice stay for an overnight

Our hotel stay was pleasant, but the hotel could use some updates and provide USB ports as there were none available in our room…bring UK adapters. Additionally, the parking is limited and can pose a challenge if arriving later in the evening. We stayed at the Clayton because it was close to our rental car drop-off location. The hotel restaurant was an excellent last meal before departing for our trip home.

The bathroom was quite small. Shower extremely low and uncomfortable for anyone above 6feet tall. Tv was pretty terrible. Had only around 20 working channels and no options to cast. Pretty outdated. The staff was great. Accommodating and friendly.

There aren't any restaurants or stores close by. You can hear conversations through the wall. The bathroom fan didn't work and had cobwebs in the corner. The carpet was wet with spilled something when we arrived. The drawer marked "Hair Dryer" was empty. However, breakfast was excellent and the king-sized bed was rare in Ireland. The Aircoach for the Dublin airport is conveniently located across the street. For the high cost, I'd recommend elsewhere.

My Hotel stay was great ! The Staff greeted my husband and I with a smile and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast buffet was great and the location was close to restaurants and shops. The Hotel was far enough from the main tourist areas but close enough to walk restaurants and shops. I definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet area away from a high traffic area. Enjoy your stay!

It’s a beautiful hotel. A little further from the city center than I’d have liked. The shuttle (Aircoach and Dublin express to and from airport are very convenient. We walked to Guinness and Jameson in 40 ish minutes. Bed was huge but to firm for me and the feather pillows are not my preference.
