The location is perfect for getting around and seeing Dublin. The breakfast we opted into was amazing. The only complaint is the beds. They were very hard and had only one very flat pillow. Sleeping wasn’t great. As a note about the area, again location is amazing but it is a city. So leaving the window open you heard everything. Closing it was a bit toasty.

Location was great. Near Temple Bar area. We only stayed one night on the day we flew in, so can’t speak to how close it is to historical sites. We did walk to Guinness Storehouse and Christ Church Cathedral, but it was over a mile. Room was fine; nothing fancy.

This is an older hotel but the room was large and beds were comfortable. The location was ideal for walking to Trinity college, Grafton St, and Connelly St. lots of shopping and restaurants with walking distance.

The properties is in a great location, the staff were very responsive to questions and small concerns that I had. It is getting a bit dated, and could use with a little bit of TLC. But rooms were clean and comfortable. And I would stay here again.

Dublin getaway

A great location in the city & we were able to walk nearly everywhere. The hotel had a great bar & our family room had 3 very comfortable beds. The shower had great water pressure & we really enjoyed our stay.

This is an affordable hotel in a very convenient location near the center of town - O'Connell Street, Temple Bar and bus/rail lines. The hot breakfast is generous with a lot of options. The bar is cavernous and old-world comfortable. Staff are friendly and efficient.

I enjoyed the live entertainment at the bar. I did not like the Celtic dance night seating. Priority seating, and the best, were given to tour groups. They didnt appear to be staying at the hotel. We were staying at the hotel and were given seats to the far left side of stage. We could not see the dancers heads nor feet. We had to rely on the TV above our seats to watch. Audio was difficult to hear musicians voices.

Neighbourhood felt a bit seedy after dark. The bartender in the restaurant, Charlotte, was very rude to a number of customers while we were in - maybe just having a bad day. All other staff was friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk.
