The property was under renovation so access was difficult for me as J had my brother with me who had mobility problems. The ramp was. very long and access to the bedrooms was unsafe for him.

If I had known the property was under renovation, I would have picked another hotel. Getting into the hotel involved a long walk from the street with our suitcases. My wife has mobility issues. Why there is not a way to request a porter at the taxi stand is beyond me. Then since the property wants to be "green", everyday we had to request more towels. It was not a very pleasant experience.

Great location, city centre only 15/20minute walk away. Plenty of selection for breakfast, friendly staff, pool, sauna, steam room and a hot tub, a nice bonus. Currently building work in progress, which wasnt an issue but was not made aware prior to arrival. Also building work next door to the hotel again no issues with noise or anything. Rooms are slightly dated, shower water pressure poor, due an upgrade but very clean, spacious and a comfy bed. No air con in the room, a fan is provided but not the best. Overall great hotel, would stay again.

A bit far from much of anything. Room was a bit dirty stains on floor and pillows. Staff couldn’t even give us a recommendation for where to eat when they advised the restaurant was closed at like 9pm. Meh. Wouldn’t stay there again. Oh and the pool sucked cause tons of kids and you have to wear swimmer hats. Weird.

The property was very safe and in walking distance to most venues, under 2kms from Temple bar area (we enjoy getting out and walking around). The room was large and the bed was comfortable (we had larger king room). Unfortunately the hotel was being renovated at the time and we had issues with the water, which was out of the control of the staff, which was professional given the stressful situation. The rating would definitely be higher under normal circumstances. I would stay there again under the right circumstances.

Under Renovation!

The hotel was a construction site and was booked to capacity which made everything extremely difficult from accessing reception, to breakfast and just finding rooms with areas closed off! Rooms do not have air con which during a summer day and night made it extremely uncomfortable. Considering the price this was definitely one not to return to!

The staff were wonderful. Towels great, but no washcloths?? With no air-conditioning and the windows only opening a bit, the room was stuffy and hot. We wished there was a larger selection on the dinner menu at night. And, 18 euro for the breakfast buffet was too much given the light breakfast we like. But, we had a wonderful two weeks and would return.

An average stay

This is not a 4 star property of experience, it is a 2.5-3. It is a bit dated and does not have a fan or fridge to aid in comfort. The construction was not a nuisance for us as it was for others leaving reviews. The pool is mainly used for kids lessons based on our time going to it. Parking on the weekend nearby on the street was not an issue for us, but guessing weekdays would be difficult. This hotel is proximal to Aviva stadium, epic and the theater, but not very close to the main shopping district, brewery, and such. The ability to pre-check in is nice and use the kiosk on arrival.

Hotel was in the middle of a refurbishment that we didn’t know about so was a bit of a mess when we were there. We were only thee for 3 days and 2 of these days we had no running water in the room.So we couldn’t get showered in the evening or even flush the toilet.Not ideal when you are going out for a meal and a show in the evening.Hotel staff not very helpful as they said it was out of there control.

Booked via an online site and looked to be reasonable. Hotel rooms were comfortable although there some issues with towels/gowns (missing) and there was building works taking place whilst we were there. Also issues with the water supply on our last day but this was sorted and we were given a later check out time. Opted to take breakfast in the booking and this was good. Reasonable walk into the city centre and the sites and there were some local pubs nearby to visit. It would be somewhere I would consider staying again.
