Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Very comfortable bed. Could adjust thermostats to our personal liking. Very good quality shampoo and conditioner. Tasty, quick breakfast cafe on premises. Other very good breakfast spots very nearby for variety.The only things that I didn’t like were that: 1) there is a massive construction site behind the hotel -although we were up at 7am and out of the hotel by 9am, so it wasn’t a problem, and honestly, it was pretty interesting to see how a building is built. 2) whenever we needed the window curtain closed, the room felt somewhat dim because the various lamps left a couple of darker areas. They earned their 4 star review however because they cheerfully gave/loaned us things we needed. They found a power outlet converter for us when we really needed one which was a huge relief.

Fabulous hospitality

We initially had a room that had an issue with a terrible odor coming from the shower drain. They were prompt to provide us with a new room. Turned out to be a better space than our first one. I appreciated their willingness to help resolve the issue.

The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful. This was my second stay there. You are within close walking distance to the Ha'penny bridge and Temple bar area. You can walk to your favorite places or use a taxi app, Freenow or Uber. I would stay here again when in Dublin.

Nice rooms and good location. Unfortunately the window didnt seal properly and there was noisy construction across the road. The restaurant/bar wasn't open, which we only found out on arrival.

Excellent Aparthotel - would recommend.

Really happy with our stay - staff were really welcoming, the reception smelled great and was well maintained. The room isn't cleaned daily (which is not a complaint - I prefer the more sustainable approach) so when I had to pop down to reception to ask for more coffee sachets, the staff were really helpful. The room was perfectly proportioned with excellent amenities and spotlessly clean. We chose to use the kitchen for two dinners, the correct utensils were available for a basic meal. The bed was comfy, and the sofa was of decent size to sit us two adults. Couldn't fault the location either. We had a great stay - thank you to the cleaning and reception staff!

Overall our 6-night stay at the Zanzibar Locke was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and obviously has been recently updated. The location is within easy walking distance of most anything in downtown Dublin. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I wish that some type of coffee maker were in the room...or at least a better coffee offering available in the lobby. The only onsite option was a very small cafe that did not open until 7:00am and had very expensive coffee. Our room (Locke Studio, Accessible Twin) was huge...especially by European standards. But it could have used additional space for setting bathroom items and a clothes dresser or other furniture as so much space was wasted.
