Overall we had a really good stay at Zanzibar Locke. The room was really nicely laid out and appointed. Exactly what you see online - fresh and modern with a great bathroom reno. Really nice and spacious cafe and fresh and light common areas. Steps away from Ha’penny Bridge, it was a perfect place from which to explore the city. Great staff - friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel room/self-catering apartment with facilities including a hob, dishwasher and washing machine. There was lots of space and the room and bathroom were in good condition. The hotel is well-placed for getting around Dublin and there are lots of lovely eating establishments nearby.

Perfect place for catching the bus or tram to get around town, and temple bar is a great neighborhood itself. Laundry on site, but the dryer doesn’t work very well.

Location and amenities, staff and service were ALL amazing. The ONLY negative at all was the construction of a new building right across the alley that had super bright lights on all night and workers starting at 7am. Not the hotels fault at all just inconvenient.

Wonderful location and it was very nice to have the kitchenette. Super walkable! The bed and pillows were VERY firm- just a warning for anyone who doesn’t tolerate that well (I had difficulty sleeping). The only downside is that they don’t service the room daily, which we would have preferred.

First room we got there was a hair on the pillowcase and when we pulled the sheets back we found another long hair under the sheets so we requested another room. Rooms were very dark and basement like. Kitchen was nice and furniture was newer. Very close to downtown popular bars and shopping which was nice. We felt like we were price gouged because of the Steelers football game. Way too much for the room. That is disheartening. We paid over three times the normal price per night for a room. Also, they had no housekeeping and you literally had to go to the front desk for toilet paper and towels. Front desk people were nice but I feel as though we are owed money for doing our own housekeeping and money back for being price gouged.
