Lovely stay at the Alex

We had a comfortable and lovely experience at The Alex. Great location, clean and stylish rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricier than other places we have stayed so we opted not to include it in our stay. Overall, wonderful trip!

The 1 bedroom suite was very spacious, more than enough room for 3 people. The front desk team was nice, but seemed to be newer and not as familiar with the area for recommendations. This was also the only hotel we stayed at in the UK (we stayed in 3 total) that didn't come and help us with our luggage.

A Gem in Dublin

This hotel is a real Gem in the Dublin city centre area. Its clean and very comfortable with a fantastic team of people running the show. I would highly recommend it for a stay.

Got upgraded to an Executive Room which had very comfortable bedding, access to lounge, etc. Very nice breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Easy walk to nearby pubs for dinner and transport back to airport.

The property is located right in the heart of downtown but off of a quiet road. We used the garage for parking but there was a ton of street parking! The hotel is beautifully updated and the twin room is thoughtfully designed for two individuals. There was even a TV remote for each bed! Id stay here again and recommend to anyone!

This was a lovely place to land for our stay in Dublin. We made a new friend in Simon, who delivered with his offer to help us enjoy our stay (more water? Sure. Taxi? You got it!) We walked to the river, the bay, the Temple Bar, Guinness Storehouse, churches and all the pubs. Room was well attended, clean - and hit all marks of cool, dark and quiet. A perfect home base for our stay. On site restaurant looks amazing! Already looking to our return.
