You are staying in a VRBO that looks like a hotel. No one is going to greet you or help you at the desk. Once I figured that out the room was fine and I really liked the neighborhood. We didn’t have a car and the bus system to town was great.

You do get what you pay for... Our stay was overall not bad but there were some not great things. Such as, the hallway carpets are stained and old, the hallway also has an odor, the smoke alarm is right outside of bathroom door so it went off when showering, and the tv doesn’t work. But the cleaning staff was very nice and helpful.

The location is really easy to navigate from within the city. Getting downtown was easy and cheap with the bus route right outside and down the street. We appreciated the cleaning staff and how kind and helpful they were and the addition of the common space to work/relax is a good help when you need to get some space to work. Totally recommend!

All good overall just some niggles: slow drainage meant shower tray overflowed & sink didn’t empty for a few minutes. Automatic keyless check-in worked fine (so no service as such!) Room clean & warm. Bed big & comfortable Windows opened etc.

The location wasn’t too bad as the neighborhood is nice, and shops are a short walk away. It’s a bit deceptive from the photos what the hotel looks like. It has a chandelier as a spotlight as if it’s a charming, sophisticated hotel. In reality, there’s no one in the hotel to help. One needs codes to get in the hotel and room. The communication was good as I had to call a number for the codes, because I didn’t see the email before I arrived. The room was clean, the single bed was small, and average comfort. Nice shower, but the mirror at the sink, outside the bathroom, didn’t have its own light. Why? The TV channels were a mess, and took certification to figure out how to get more than two channels. I know that the price was higher for the NFL game weekend, but $350 U.S. dollars was “highway robbery” for that room. I had a more luxury room at a Motel 6 in Palookaville, Iowa, and I got a big fat breakfast out of it for a $150. If you can’t get a real hotel, instead of a faux VRBO hotel, this is a good choice for 120 Euros max, only because it’s in a nice area in Rathgar.

When we arrived we could not get any access to the property or the room. Got access to the property when somebody came out. Then we found we had to email the company to get our room number and access codes. Other people had the same problem. Not good enough as we should have had this information before we arrived. Expensive and small room.

Clean and close to city attractions

Room and property were clean and just as described. Easy to get to via Uber/Taxi. Had some loud guests on our second night but that’s to be expected sometimes. All in all a great stay and would recommend. An economical option to staying in Dublin City Center.
