"Nice hotel close to town centre "
The room needed more curtains to block out light, otherwise a nice room. Walking distance to town centre and friendly staff.

"Hotel in the heart of Daylesford"
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. While the room was small it was comfortable. Attention to some details in the room would improve it. Like making sure the arm rest is attached to the chair. Leveling the shelf in the bathroom so items stay in place and don't slide off. Frosted glass, not clear, for privacy on the bathroom door. Ensure the spa bath works. One day our room wasn't serviced until late in the day with the dinner tray from previous evening still in our room. The room wasn't done thoroughly: the tea bags and milk supplies not replenished. A glass we had got from bar with ice in it the previous evening was left in the fridge, empty. First evening we were charged for an extra drink we didn't have. The evening we ordered dinner for our room had to be followed up: the order hadn't been completed to the final stage. The evening we arrived we were assisted with our luggage up the many stairs, which was a great help with no lift in the hotel. The morning of departure we were left to struggle ourselves to get our luggage down the stairs out to the car. The style of the hotel inside and out is great, with a European feel, especially the vine covered walled courtyard at the back. Attention to the detail and service would make it an even better hotel. It was a bit disappointing with the good reviews I read on the hotel prior to booking.

"Small but clean"
As experienced travellers who have stayed in many motels, this is by far the smallest room we have ever stayed in. Barely enough room for one person to walk around the queen size bed. The room was very clean, Wi-Fi free and speedy, TV a good size. Manager was friendly and we appreciated being taken to our room on arrival. Parking the car was difficult at times, especially if you are in one of the motel rooms at the back of the complex.

"Beautifully presented guest house style. "
Carrington house was an appealing and attractive guest house with an inviting and homely feeling. The interior was lovingly decorated and coordinated, with beautifully appointed features and presentation. Attention to detail was obvious. From the generous tea/coffee snacks etc to the many magazines, reading matter, heat lamps in bathrooms and ceiling fans in bedrooms. I feel as if we found a real 'treasure' to return to, in order to keep exploring the region! Highly recommend it!!

"Great little cottage"
A great little cottage with a kitchenette and spa to have some peace and quiet. A stone's throw to the Main Street shops and cafes so you can just walk there. Comfy but firm bed for a good night's sleep.

"Nice room, close to town"
We stayed one night here and it was great. The min golf course is a huge plus, honestly the best course I have seen. We stayed in the Autumn room and it was clean, well presented. Just what we needed for an overnight stay. We had a bit of trouble with our online booking because the owner is away and had her mother looking after the hotel. But once we spoke to her granddaughter everything worked out well!

    Accommodation In Daylesford

Stay in our Daylesford accommodation and enjoy this scenic resort town, which boasts Australia's highest concentration of natural mineral springs. The architecture and gardens of the town have a distinctively European feel due to the high Italian and Swiss populations during the 1800s gold rush.

Relax and unwind, while staying in our Daylesford accommodation, there is plenty to see and do. Visit Lake Daylesford, which boasts mineral springs, walking tracks and BBQ areas, hire a canoe and explore the wildlife sanctuary of Jubilee Lake, take a walk around the gorge and fern-lined creek at Sailor's Falls, take a trip to the Mt Franklin Recreation Reserve and see an extinct volcano, or use our Daylesford accommodation as a base to visit the mineral spa resort town of Hepburn Springs, just five minutes from town.

Soak in local history, while staying in our Daylesford accommodation, by visiting the Historical & Cultural Museum; featuring Aboriginal artefacts and relics of the pioneer days or the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens; established in 1863 atop an extinct volcano. The Gardens boasts beautiful views of the town, rare trees, a fernery and an award winning begonia display in February-March and a lookout tower. See the displays of photographs, clothing and Aboriginal artefacts at the Daylesford Historical Society Museum housed in the old School of Mines, built in 1890, and next door is the old primary school, built in 1874.
