Upon arrival we were told there would be very limited room service and no housekeeping unless absolutely necessary because it was a holiday week. Our whole trip revolved around being in Dallas for our families first NFL football game and we paid a lot of money for parking at the stadium so we could get there to tailgate. We were not once notified by hotel staff that the entire area around the hotel for blocks including getting out of the parking garage (which we had to park in and pay for valet per hotel standards $45 a day and tip) that the area would be shut down for hours due to a turkey trot race. In turn we were not able to get our vehicle out of the hotel until 11 o’clock that morning and missed being able to get a spot in the parking area at the stadium to tailgate which ruined a major part of our Thanksgiving day plans. When we asked the last at the desk why we were not notified she said they didn’t know until the night before but they had enough time to print out a letter to put under the door of our hotel room at 10 pm the night before Thanksgiving reminding us that there would not be housekeeping because of the holiday. Poor communication and I was very dissatisfied.

The front desk service was extremely poor. I had already paid through the hotel's online payment platform, but he said he hadn't seen it and wanted me to pay again. I showed him my payment confirmation receipt, but he still wouldn't let me check in and was very impatient. We waited the manager coming then right away resolved it.
