The location of the hotel is great! There are many restaurant options nearby, and it feels safe to walk in the neighborhood. Additionally, Ebony at the front desk was very sweet and helpful over the phone when I called prior to my stay. However, the hotel itself is lacking in service, and the rooms are mediocre for the price — it felt basic and low-end for the price point.
My shower door wouldn’t close properly, and the curtains didn’t slide smoothly. The noise level—especially from the food delivery truck—was insane. I was woken up at 3:30 a.m. and called the front desk; she said they would be gone in 10 minutes, but they had already been there for 20. I understand it’s out of her hands, but perhaps the hotel should consider offering earplugs.
