We tried to check in at 1pm and no king rooms were available, when back at 10pm there was an unhappy customer requiring both desk clerks and the manager, the problem unknown to us. When we got to the counter the one clerk started laughing…it seems that customer wanted a king room and mine was the last one. The manager wanted to give my room away since I hadn’t checked in yet, despite it being fully paid for. But fortunately the clerk had awareness of some people arriving late and said no, my timing was obviously perfectly timed. But be aware of late arrivals here, you run the risk of your reservation being given away to walk ups.

Maintenance was lacking. Lightbulb out, dryer not working, walls thin. I had a sleepless first night because they put me in a room close to Central Expressway which was very noisy. I also had a mixup when I booked an extra night and had to go down to the lobby at 11 PM to get it sorted. The staff is really nice though.
