If you enjoy the downtown hustle and bustle, than you may like it. Saturday night was so noisy from people purposely revving their engines between all the big building to be louder. $50 a night for valet parking is steep to me. And the buolding it out dated with elevaters that made me a little nervous. BUT it was neat to be in a historical building that is not far from some other tourist attractions. We did find a decent and cheaper parking garage about 1.5 blocks away on Commerce St and Lane St that was up and way from easy access from the street. We did get the 26th floor that was a bitter sweet. It was cool to have the clock tower veiw but longer elevator rides.

I stayed at Magnolia Dallas last week for a conference. The hotel was nice, but I accidentally left an Apple AirPod behind in my bed. I’ve called the front desk and left messages for housekeeping and lost & found several times, but no one has returned my call and try to help me. I understand items get misplaced, but what’s disappointing is the lack of response — especially for guests who are traveling and can’t just come back in person. I told them I’ll pay for shipping and I know exactly where I left them. I would love to update this review if management reaches out and helps locate or return my item. Guests deserve to feel confident that if they leave something behind, they can get timely assistance.

This historical building hotel was beautiful. We stayed on the 24th floor which was all the original wood panel walls, original doors and very spacious with comfortable furniture. The bathroom was huge. The staff was welcoming and courteous.

Hidden Gem in Downtown Dallas!

We were celebrating our 45th anniversary! We had selected a downtown restaurant and wanted to stay overnight at a downtown hotel. We are very glad we found the marvelous Magnolia Hotel Dallas Downtown. This is a hidden gem! The rooms are spacious, and the cost is very reasonable! It is also close to lots of downtown restaurants and attractions. One minor concern was the water supply in the bathroom was limited. When you tried to only have the water come out of the shower head, there was also water simultaneously coming out of the tub spout. Another minor concern is it was difficult to regulate the room temperature. But overall, we were pleased with our suite, which included a full kitchen. The staff was also friendly.
