No hot water in my room. Desk clerk was rude and unfriendly when I told her about the problem. Eventually got room switched. New room had no thermostat forA.C. Outside temps were near 100 degrees during my stay. I will not be staying here again!!!

Older hotel but good for the price point. A little slow on some of the minor stuff with room service, like lack of cups in the room. However, when visiting Dallas I would chose the hotel again. Great exercise room.

This is a great historic hotel. It is located in an excellent part of town, across the street from the AT&T world headquarters. There are numerous places to eat and drink near by, and there is upscale shopping very close as well. The staff was impeccable and treated all of their customers with class and professionalism. There was a global robotics competition in Dallas the weekend we were there so some of the room offerings (VIP?) were not available. The rooms are dated, as to be expected, but are well appointed and very clean. The water pressure was very good on the 11th floor, and it was relatively quiet. There is a great bakery/bistro connected to the hotel lobby that offers great coffee and breakfast items. The AT&T Discovery District across the street is very lively and there is entertainment, food, and drink for just about any taste. All in all a very good stay.

The area was nice with lots of options for dining and entertainment. The hotel itself, however, was lacking. It seemed old and tired with few amenities, it took a bit for the water to heat, the desk staff on the 2nd day was extremely rude to other guests (not us). The tile in the bathroom was cracked and the room was dusty. The room was also extremely cold regardless of what the thermostat was set for and there were no extra blankets.
