1. Check-in process was very slow. I had only 1 resident ahead of me and it still took me 25mins to reach the counter inspite of 3 representatives being present at the desk. 2. Room was very small and felt very claustrophobic. 3. Room took too long to get heated as there were cool winds blowing in through the window inspite of it being closed. 4. Room didn’t have basic toiletries like shower caps and toothbrushes. Overall experience of a 5-star hotel like Fairmont was very average and poor.

Hotel was lovely and Afternoon Tea was great. Though the host staff seemed overwhelmed and it was a bit of a wait past our reservation start time to get seated. Also the amount of breakfast options at the hotel were quite limited for the size of hotel. Zoe’s booked already for each morning of our stay for breakfast when we checked in for the long weekend so we had to do the small cafe for takeaway, which also seemed overwhelmed and took a while. Again the hotel is lovely and well situated but lacked some of the amenities and attention to detail I would expect from a Fairmont.

The room was in good condition but small. We had to set the coffee maker on the floor, as there was no other location to plug them in. Ventilation was to loud and kept me from sleeping. Staff was very courteous. Chairs in the dining room was very uncomfortable

Super friendly staff everywhere in the building: concierge, restaurants, bellhop, doorman, and maintenance staff. Our bathroom was not as clean as it abound have been - hairs in the shower and some on the pillow. Also, not enough towels. Only 2 towels for 4 guests. Otherwise, beautiful stay.

Booked this hotel for my parents, in celebration of my dads birthday and they had an absolutely lovely stay, the room was amazing and the staff was extremely pleasant, they even surprised them with a little treat in honour of his bday!
