I really liked the size of the room, very spacious and well appointed. When we arrived the room smelled like stinky feet. I sprayed my body spray in the room and we went to the restaurant. When we returned the room smelled better. I think the rugs need to be cleaned. It wasn't the towels or bedding so it must be the carpet.

The hotel was alright but nothing spectacular. The staff was great anytime we interacted with them. The beds could’ve been better, I struggled to get comfortable. There was no hot tub, just a pool but there were awesome kids and teen rooms available for our kids to hang out in the evenings. The view from the top floor of the hotel is spectacular!

Nice hotel and great location!

Friendly staff and they were always available. The room was clean and comfortable to stay and sleep. The beds were super comfortable too. The washroom was spacious and very clean also. The hotel's location is perfect because everything around is within walking distance and to get to Byward market or the Rideau mall or to the Parliament, it is about a 20 minute walk. It is far away enough to get some peace and quiet moments but close enough to areas to enjoy the rush of downtown life.

Unfriendly/some-what rude staff. Outdated hotel rooms. Insect and noise problems in our area of the hotel. Not what you would expect from any 4 star hotel. Lousy experience overall.

Really great hotel. Great staff and location. Right by a subway station and walkable to just about anywhere you’d like to go. Just wanna accentuate how great the staff was. Everyone was cheerful and helpful - going out of their way to assist with anything I needed. My only minor complaints: wish the gym had a bit more equipment and also I would’ve tipped the room service delivery more if it didn’t have a $5 fee for delivery to my room. Only very minor complaints otherwise 10/10 would stay here again.

Parking was clearly marked for hotel guests and elevator went directly into the lobby. Room was clean and bed was SO comfortable. Starbucks in the lobby fronts onto Sparks St which is pedestrian only and very easy to navigate. Hotel was a quick walk to Parliament buildings. Front deak staff gave us a coupon for a free starbucks drink when we checked out which was a nice touch! We would definitely stay here again.
