We arrived at the hotel at 12:30pm and were pleasantly surprised we were able to check in early on a Friday afternoon. The front desk attendant suggested being on the 6th floor by the pool which we agreed as we have kids and planned on taking them to the pool. The room was updated but fairly small for 2 adults and 2 children. Just a few feet of space at the end of each bed to walk around but it was fine for 2 nights. The bathroom was small but modern with a nice mirror and glassed in shower. We had 2 doubles, the two mattresses felt quite different. One was very uncomfortable snd hurt our backs and the other was fine. A mini fridge was nice as well as ice machine across the hall. Our bathroom did smell like cigarette smoke the first day that someone had tried to cover up with air freshener but it did fade Our room was right beside the pool. We really enjoy swimming. The pool was nice and warm. Change rooms were updated and clean. Swimming was a highlight of our stay. The location of the hotel is great. A few blocks from the Eaton Centre, subway stop down the street as well as a big Loblaws with an LCBO. We enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning, it was a great savings and a nice selection of food. The elevators did get busy in the mornings when people were checking out. There was a few times we had to wait 10 minutes for an elevator. Parking at the hotel was good. The entrance is clearly marked and we had no problems getting in or out. Overall a good stay! I got

The man that checked us in was wonderful. He let us check in early. As we were spending the day at Princess Margaret Hospital. Which made my life a lot easier. Everything was good except for the beds! They were awful you pay a lot of money to stay to me beds are most important along with cleanliness!!! After a long day at the hospital I just need a good bed! I have chronic back pain. So beds are important to me. We also had mold in our shower and the ceiling over the beds were chipping. The pool was nice and clean but not accessible for handicap it looks like it but no handle to get out of the pool on the deck. So that was another let down for me as I love to swim. The kids did enjoy the pool. The staff were amazing from the man in the parking garage to the man who brought what we needed to our room at night and the man in the breakfast buffet area they all were so kind and friendly. They made are stay amazing thank you for your kindness.

good morning the room was ok but the staff made up for the few problems like with drafty windows the window shades minor but need repairs the staff was very courteous and helpful. i would have appreciated my senior discount but they told me i should have mentioned it first . SORRY you should have offered it I'm 74 years
