This was my first time staying at this property in Chicago, and I booked a 1-bedroom suite for my mother’s birthday $1,300 for 3 nights. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The hotel itself is not worth the price you’re truly paying for the location only. Although it’s been recently renovated, the updates make it feel more like a remodeled motel than a high-end hotel. My bathroom was dirty upon arrival, and when I went downstairs to request a room change, I was told the hotel was fully booked. They offered to send someone to clean it right away but no one ever showed up. Breakfast was extremely basic: eggs, bacon (or sausage on some days), potatoes, bagels, toast, cereal, and yogurt. For the price, I expected a much higher quality experience and variety. While the hotel staff was friendly, that was really the only positive part of my stay. I’m very disappointed that I paid so much for what felt like a 2–3 star hotel experience

Clean and Quiet Hotel.

Hotel is clean and quiet and well appointed. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is good and well made. It would be awesome if the hotel would re-open the bar area in the evenings in case we wanted easy cocktails.
