The worst experience ever!

If I could give this place negative stars I would.....I arrived at 3:30pm and was given a room, when I went to the room, it was completely unmade...no sheets on the beds, no towels, NOTHING. Back down stairs to get a different room, and then up to the second room, which was fine. I needed to call the front desk (about 4pm) and picked up the phone, which was completely disconnected from the wall and there was no phone cord insight. So back down to the front desk with the phone. The FD staff called Housekeeping and I was told that a phone would be brought up. 1 hour later when I had to leave for an appointment, no phone had arrived. When I returned at 10pm still no phone. The smoke detector in the room was not attached...there were just wires in a hole in the wall. The elevator had trash on the floor and the operations panel was in disrepair. I had to ask for milk at breakfast, and when the staff came out to restock, she was on her phone have a very loud conversation. When I checked out I asked to speak with the manager and was told that she would be in at 10...I said "no problem, I'll call her at 10:15", when I did , I was told she would be in at 11.. So at 11:15 I called back and was immediately put on hold for 17 minutes...when finally the front desk person answered and told me she was busy dealing with an issue and would call me back. I am currently waiting for a call back. The customer service at this place is awful.

We had two rooms for us going to WWE. The hotel was quiet and clean. The beds were comfy and the pillows were perfect! (I have to have good pillows when sleeping because of my back) The breakfast was delicious the next morning.

As soon as we went to go check in, 3 people were complaining about their rooms, 1 guy and his entire family got refunded and left. After he left stating that the entire 3rd floor had a gas leak, the front desk placed us on the 3rd floor. I gave it a try just in gas, and low and behold, there was for sure the strongest propane smell I have ever smelt. Our room pillows were dirty and the room smelt. After being moved to the 4th floor, it was a little better. However, the toilet ran all night long and the shower and sink were clogged every time we ran the water. Over worse hotel I have ever stayed at. There were leaks coming from the ceiling in the hallways and pretty sure there was a homeless guy that propped open the side entrance door and slept in the hallway. Elevators didn't work after a certain time and only 1 elevator worked at a time. The side elevators did not work and were out of service. I now know, staying anywhere by the airport in Charlotte is a definite NO!!!!

Changed rooms twice. The first room had bedbugs in the bed. We discovered them after the first night's sleep. The second room had a broken front door that did not close. They moved us again and the third room dirty, had holes in the wall and the shower did not work. All three rooms were dirty. If we could change hotels, we would have done so.

I like that there was enough parking space available. It was in a quiet area. But I did not like the staff did not speak English well and the cleaning maids did not speak English at all. The hotel rooms need a lot of repairs and maintenance. Also we saw a roach in the room. And the room key had to be reset a few times. The lock on the inside of the door was broken. And the tv remote barely works. No cable.

I had an incredibly disappointing stay at the Wyndham Garden Charlotte Airport Southeast. The hotel is filthy, with obvious signs that it hasn’t been cleaned properly in quite some time. The walls were stained, and the bathroom was disgusting. I found a roach in the bathroom on my first night, which completely grossed me out. It’s clear the place isn’t maintained well, and honestly, it wasn’t worth the price at all. The breakfast was horrendous, even by hotel standards—everything tasted stale, and the options were subpar. The hotel has four entrances, but only one was actually functional, so I had to walk all the way around to the entrance furthest from my room every time I came and went. To top it off, I had to get my key cards replaced at least once a day because they kept deactivating. I made sure to keep them away from my phone and keys, but it didn’t help. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, especially given the price. It’s clear they don’t care about cleanliness or guest experience.

Was placed in wrong room (single bed, not king) Had to go back down and swap rooms Why? Hotel was run by and staffed with people who spoke poor English. Overall appearance of lobby was dimly lit and not so clean. Faded paint and worn fixtures
