Zero communication! We arrived at the property at 9pm to a dimly lit parking lot. I checked the app and still hadn't received the check-in instructions. Called the owner, straight to voicemail. Messaged through the app and got the instructions. While all of this was happening multiple young men walking through the dark parking lot looking at us sitting in the car, disconcerting to say the least. The listing didn’t say where the unit was, so I had to walk around with a flashlight looking while my wife and daughter waited in the car. Found the unit, got inside to find an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke and the smoke alarm beeping. Looked around for the parkig pass since the listing said towing was strictly enforced, none to be found. My daughter is allergic to smoke, so this was a no go. I messaged the owner again that we couldn't stay, still no respose after 2 days. By far the worst place I would have stayed in if we had stayed. This may seem excessive, but I'm trying to save someone else the headache of finding a last minute hotel at 10pm at night like we had to.
