This property has apparently been recently remodeled. Whoever chose the blinds did not test them for blackout properties. There are no curtains that can be closed; the curtains on either side of the window are decorative only. The rooms facing the front of the building are exposed to bright floodlights from the parking lot, which flood the room with light all night long. The staff was not helpful in finding a solution. We ended up using a binder clip that we happened to have with us to clip the two decorative curtain sides in the middle to block 80% of the light flooding into the room.
The staff was friendly and check in was easy. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and check out was easy. The above mentioned problems give this property a single star, however. Guests should be able to sleep without outside light pouring into the room and the owners need to be made aware of the poor choice in materials they chose for blinds with no proper curtains that can be shut.
