This was our first trip out to Cancun as a family of 6 to celebrate my 50th birthday. A total of 14 people were in our group (3 separate reservations). All guests with the exception of our family were moved to another room to accommodate some sort of time share guest in the middle of our 5 night stay. The initial room had a beautiful view of the beach and amenities were on point. On our day (Saturday) we were moved and we had already made plans for an all day excursion. Upon arrival to our room, I noticed the master bedroom had an imperfection with the mattress. Half the mattress literally was sinking. The staff was called and they confirmed the findings. They noted it but did not offer to move us. At this point, my family was not ok with moving to another room for a second time. Outside of this challenge, the staff was friendly and courteous. Resort was clean and staff was working around the clock to keep the premises up to par. Most of the staff was deserving of gratuity, although some would smirk when not tipped. We definitely will be returning to Cancun but will be looking at other resort options.
