"Perfect Stay"
Graham was so helpful with directions and furnishing me with a bike. The view was amazing, especially if you go up on the roof at sun down. The Lake restaurant is right next door and they have amazing food with staff that are happy to accommodate everyone (even lone diners that turn up late). All in all, it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the local surroundings and feel really looked after.

"Beautiful location, wonderful spacious apartments."
Beautiful weekend away with my husband and 2 children. The room was spacious and well equipped. The hotel's facilities were wonderful, some a little run down but still more than usable. Staff were very friendly. Hotel location was amazing. Better than we were expecting. We would definitely stay again...

Very enjoyable 2 days in a lovely location. I found the room small but compact and the only criticism was the blue chair was large and appeared to cramp the small lounge area. Someone smoked on a balcony near to our room and we had to have the doors to the veranda shut to minimise the smell of cigarettes which was disappointing. Otherwise, very lovely

"Weekend Escape with the Family "
We loved our stay at Peppers Balé... the room was spacious with a great view of the pool. Newspaper delivered each morning and the breakfast buffet was delicious. All staff were lovely. A great family weekend getaway only 30 mins from home. We will definitely be staying again.

"Great hotel but no other close facilities"
We loved our stay at Santai! The hotel staff were friendly if needed and the complex was very quiet. The only problem was that there were no other facilities within walking distance eg. Corner shop, cafe for breakfast etc. The resort restaurant had great ambiance and food but we found the man who appeared to be the manager quite rude to patrons and staff so we would not eat there again. That aside, overall Santai was a great experience that we would come back to again.

    Pocket Guide: Cabarita Beach

Cabarita Beach is a popular holiday destination in New South Wales, brimming with things to do and see, and within easy reach of other fine attractions along both the Tweed Coast and Gold Coast. Combine rest and adventure as you enjoy the unique and pleasant atmosphere of this small seaside village.

    History

The name of the village comes from the Aboriginal word that means "by the water". The popularity of Cabarita Beach just keeps growing year after year.

    Things to do

Cabarita Beach is a premier spot for surf enthusiasts, and you can ride the waves as they crash onto the shore. If you’ve never tried to surf but are keen to learn, a number of different surfing schools can help you to realise your dreams. Take a whale-watching trip in the migratory season for some excellent up close views. For even more fun on the water, you can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, sailing, and boat trips along the river, as well as terrific fishing. Enjoy long sunny days of swimming and soaking up the sun too, and feel your cares simply drift away as you chill out in beautiful surroundings.

There are also huge areas of protected wetlands that are home to a diverse variety of wildlife, and you can spend fantastic days bush walking in the nearby national parks. Mount Warning National Park is a particularly favourite destination. Tropical Fruit World, with its Big Avocado, is also close at hand. Picnic spots and BBQ areas are plentiful, adding to the totally relaxed vibe of Carabita Beach.

    Shopping and dining

The weekly markets are great for picking up fresh produce and locally made items. You will find a diverse range of different cuisines in Carabita Beach’s restaurants, and there are also loads of places to grab a quick snack if you’re on the go.

    Getting here and around

We have flights from a number of domestic airports direct to the Gold Coast. From there it’s just a short drive to the pretty and laid back Cabarita Beach, so book your Cabarita Beach accommodation with us.
