Staff was very uncaring. A 70 year old member of our party slipped on a wet floor injuring her knee, other guests helped us lift her to a chair. She was in severe pain and the front desk worker came over and put up a sign stating “slippery when wet”, at the beginning of the hallway not at the door where we had just entered through, handed me two Bare aspen and walked away. Not once did she check one our injured party. When I reported the incident in the morning to a manager, she just said, I’m sorry. She said she would have a mat put down in front of the door right away. When we left two hours later there was still no mat at the door. Still no one checking if our member was ok.

While the front desk staff was friendly, the hotel was noticeably, dirty and extremely noisy. I was only able to get three hours of sleep the first night because of the loud party going on downstairs and then kids running around in the halls yelling in the middle of the night. I intended to swim in the hotel pool, but it was closed “for maintenance” even though nobody was working there the entire time we stayed. The free breakfast was nice in the location was good for going to Salem, but our hotel stay was borderline miserable.

Card was charged multiple night in a row for unapproved charges. Was told about the parking fee which is fine. Wake up the next morning with a $100 charge for nothing along with a $20 charge. When asking the staff nobody could give an answer. Next morning we get up and we have another charge for using the market at the hotel although we never purchased anything under the room. Hotel was fine employees were sketchy and overall not helpful. If I could go back I would spend the extra $129 on a better hotel.

The hotel was under construction. The pool was closed. We had to pay to park when the entrance was under construction. We had to enter through the conference room. Breakfast was sparse. We picked this hotel to enjoy the pool and hot tub and it was closed even though I called the day before to double verify. The furniture in our room was stained and peeled. Lighting for parking lot was dim and could not figure out how to get into parking lot. For the price that we paid, this was unacceptable.

Staff was great but lobby was dirty and furniture is old and stained and full of holes. They ran out of breakfast quick and the food was mid. The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance the whole time which sucked and they were doing construction on the main entrance so we were woken up every morning by the sounds of heavy equipment. The rooms were clean-ish but caprlets looked nasty and cocking around bathtub looks ild and decaying. The best thing was the staff for sure.

upon checking in we were unaware that construction was going on we came with 3 children and couldn’t even walk in the front door, very inconvenient for a family especially if we weren’t aware of this. secondly when we walked into the the lobby we noticed the pool was under maintenance also another thing we were not aware of at booking, we specifically picked a hotel with a working pool so we thought… for our children to enjoy. Spoke with representative on the phone beforehand asking about the pool which would’ve been the time to explain that it won’t be ready to use which they failed to do so. Walking into the room it had a very noticeable musty smell. lastly, on our last morning waking up to leave we received an invoice that was slided through our door that we are charged for parking, another thing we had no knowledge of upon checking in. Markings of marker drawn above bed and dirty glasses by the sink that were put there for us to rinse our mouths with.

Convience to commute to Salem! Room was clean, but could use some updating. Shower was hot & pressure was great! BUT did NOT appreciate the construction workers starting btw 7-8 am especially on the weekend! With the non stop beeping sound of a truck backing up.... UGH

VERY POOR service at the hotal. The first night we stayed there was NO HOT WATER. On the way down in the elevator to complain I spoke to other guests who'd been there a bit longer who told me they'd HAD NO ROOM SERVICE and their garbage in their room was starting to pile up, so that night they felt forced to just put it out in the hallway. After a brief conversation with the manager to complain about the lack of hot water he suggested we call expedia who we booked through to tell them about our issue and he would refund them to pass a partial refund on to us once they contacted him. He didn't respond to any attempts made by expedia to confirm our booking and process the refund. An absolute dump of a hotel. We travel a lot and this has to be up there as one of our worst experiences.
