It was a room.

It was a room. For the price on Boston Marathon weekend, I suppose you get what you pay for. It was a room. Breakfast was just bread (bagels, muffins, danish), so no eggs. No hotel shop with toiletries, medicine or snacks. CVS and Trader Joe's isn't too far of a walk but would've been more convenient at the hotel.

We stayed for 6 nights and it was pretty great. Its a nice hotel and in a great area. Its overall pretty quiet. Everything was really clean. Few complaints: Breakfast isnt the greatest. There is bread slices, bagels, cereal, yogurt, apple pastry, some fruit.. first day it was okay but it got old real quick. A waffle make or something wouldve been nice. Maybe some eggs too. Housekeeping: They took all of our soap after the first night staying there. No idea why. We used them for one night. Which would have been fine if they left new soap. But they didnt. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Far exceeded my expectations. I had some doubts after reading a number of reviews but I realize those reviews were from when the property was under ‘other management’. Everything was great. The room, the staff, the breakfast, all of it. It has all the makings of becoming my go to property when staying in Boston for my next visit.

When we checked in there was no real welcome, was asked for $50 extra per night for (refundable) and was sent to 3 different rooms without apology before we actually got the room we’d booked. No offer to help with the luggage or apology offered. Front of house staff are unhelpful. Regular issues with housekeeping not replacing toiletries, towels, failing to make beds and one day we came home to find our sink full of muck which resembled the bottom of a mop bucket absolutely disgusting. The air conditioning unit sounds like Concorde taking off so impossible to sleep at night with it on. This meant the room was boiling hot. Whilst it’s a couple of miles from the action there is convenient access to the tram outside. The breakfast was ok, but rarely anywhere to sit down and eat it and there is always hot coffee and filtered water available. There is no bar or restaurant available and no safety deposit box in the room for valuables. For a hotel charging $300 a night the whole experience should be way better than what we received.

I came here to run the Boston Marathon. They were especially loving to us runners. The extra touches like our breakfast spread, decorations, helpful directions printed up were very much appreciated. This place is clean and super comfortable.

The location is one of the few positive components. The room has no exterior windows, the toilet ran throughout the night, there is no light in closet and the bathroom door is crumbling

Great location, T access in front of hotel. I love the lobby vibe. It's spacious and inviting along with providing 24 hour coffee, tea, and water. Although, the walls in the rooms are bit thin. We can hear people's conversation passing by and the plumbing noises from the next room. The rooms are smaller but cozy. Mohamed, General Manager, was excellent in attending to a few incidentals we had. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. To note, we have stayed numerous times at The Commonwealth. We prefer the customer service at the Arcadian. Customer service is everything for us when we patronized an establishment. Thank you for a great 6 night stay.

Breakfast was included in the price and honestly, it was terrible. I would rather not have breakfast included. No option to buy water or anything at the hotel, the bar area had beverage cooling fridges, all empty. Really disappointing
