It is next to MIT. However, there are no restaurants or shops within short walking distance of the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel is fine, but on the older side. There's a huge parking structure next to the hotel, which as great. The restaurant staff were great.

Best hotel service ever

The service in the 2nd floor tavern restaurants was extraordinary- the staff from hostess Asha to waiter and waitresses went above and beyond to make every meal comfortable. Front staff at check in area as well. Michael was very attentive and knowledgeable and friendly. Best experiment ever. Will return there if all hotels in Boston

Solid hotel in a fabulous location on the Charles River in Cambridge. I was disappointed that since my last visit (pre-pandemic), they’ve closed the swimming pool and changed the restaurant menu from elevated to average. I’m still happy to stay there, but it’s no longer my favorite.

Great location to MIT and BU. Felt like a luxury hotel. Great shower, quiet, and spacious room. The extra fee is stupid but overall it’s a good value for the amenities.
