This was a very last minute booking and the hotel was very nice. Very modern and convenient. Within walk distance to many places and a lot of parking out front. Valet prices are very expensive

The hotel is very modern and elegant. The decor was beautiful. The restaurant and bar were delightful. However, our room was very small and in need of some repair: broken faucet, shower head, and exhaust system. (I didn’t hear music and it didn’t remove the fog from the mirror). Also it didn’t smell clean, actually we smelled cigarette smoke. We didn’t have sugar and creamer, only 2 packs of coffee for a 2 day stay. Housekeeping had to search the hotel for creamer and there was only 1 washcloth. When we called the front desk the clerks were kinda dismissive. Not very accommodating to resolve our issues. The clock had the wrong time, cable tv was unplugged, and the only view we had was of the fire escape. Housekeeping didn’t come until 4pm, interrupting our nap. We asked her to come back in a hour since we would be going out to dinner. When we returned our room wasn’t refreshed. She returned in the morning, knocking loudly again at 9:15, the day we were to checkout.

I was tokd by two staff members there was breakfast being served and there was not. No pool no laundry no gym no nothing. I left my jacket and it was throw in the hallway by the elevator. My air wasnt working and no one came to look at it. Just a mess I will never book here again

This Sonesta has an 8.8 rating which means Expedia can’t be trusted. The staff was not friendly, the property looks and smells musty and dirty and the rooms are perfumed to cover the other smells which is gross. I stayed in the Hampton Inn and Suites the next two nights which, by comparison, was sterile clean with a great breakfast.

Sonesta was good for the price. The staff was very friendly. The lobby looked new and clean. The hallways had newer light fixtures and were clean. The bedrooms were outdated. Stains on carpet. The air conditioner seemed like it was pumping out humid air when the AC was on. The carpet seemed damp from the humidity. Shower pressure was good. I had a flickering light bulb in the bathroom. TV actually had good channels and was in HD. Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable.

The bathroom had broken fixtures. Tissue holder not properly mounted to the wall. Shower fixtures broken and granite sink with 2 visible large cracks in it. I didn’t need a fabulous view but I was not expecting the window to be facing a cement wall, which restricted natural light.

Repeat customer for a reason

Had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to show up at the desk to check-in. That's the first time that has happened for me there me. It was only a brief stay but I keep staying there because the rooms are good and the beds have been amazingly comfortable for me. I've had 14 spine surgeries to date so not only is that important, but usually difficult to find.

The staff at this hotel was amazing. Everyone I came across was friendly and helpful from the front desk to the valet. The hotel was immaculate and beautiful and was only a two block walk to the harbor.
