It seems the hotel was fully booked and we got the last room (built for someone with special needs). Toilet did not flush - and clearly was not flushing when housekeeping cleaned because it was still full of what I hope was a cleaning fluid. Engineering sent someone up with a plunger (after I was told no, we could not change rooms). Also, a light bulb was out in the bathroom. The bed makes a lot of noise just turning over or getting in and out of it. My husband did like being able to see the tv from the flush-it- three times and pray toilet. He also had a lovely walk by the water Sunday morning.

Don't go here

Great location so we booked it however I will not stay again. Very busy hosting several proms over the weekend- the young adults were loud and disruptive. As a result of the additional people the hotel staff could not keep up with the cleaning. Trash in the elevators, vomit in the bathroom and the lobby area had dirty tables with cups and napkins all over the place. The las t and worst thing- upon check in no one explains you must pay ahead for parking or get fined 15 mins after check in. There are signs but I did not think it was meant for guests staying overnight I thought it meant for guests using the facilities like the prom or dinner. Well upon check out I noticed I was not charged for parking and when I went to get my car I had a ticket with a $65.00 fine in addition to the parking fee. My fault however lazy, complacent staff can't explain this a check in? Too much money for too little to offer. Baltimore has much better places than this.

Not sure if i would return

Checking in was not as smooth as expected unlike other renaissance hotels that i stayed in. I can hardly understand the desk agent. Paying for hotel Parking was confusing as it is not accepting payments. Front desk agent was helpful. Valet was informative. Noise can be loudly heard from both outside the room and the hallway.

Worst stay ever

The stay from start to finish was horrible. The front desk was rude, parking was horrible, breakfast wasn’t offered after I paid for it and the pool was disgusting

Sometimes one member of staff really holds the candle and Derrick was that person. Interested in everyone on the floor and always moving around being helpful. The hotel was simple and okay. The guest room was clean but the common areas were not and the furniture definitely needs a refresh. Sunday night with one bar tender and he was slammed. Twenty minutes to get a drink. Breakfast was a great disappointment. Avocado and tomato bruschetta where they listed a toasted baguette on the menu was actually two pieces of toasted bread with avocado (not fresh and very lemony) spread across it with one slice of a beef tomato and a very fried egg. The toast went soggy and it was just wrong. Cream was given for cups of tea instead of milk. The buffet breakfast lacked vegetables and everything was cold. The guest bathroom lacked useful amenities e.g. liquid hand soap, body moisturizer, makeup remover flannel and a toilet roll holder that was fully fixed to the wall. The toilet roll holder was also 135 degrees to the right (a good body twist away). The property really needs LOVE. There's an outdoor area that is just dead plants with a bit of rubbish.

We had a small problem with our room (smokers don't listen and smell up the room for everyone else). We were moved immediately and they even gave us free breakfast. The pool area was really nice and you can't beat the location, there are a few fine dining restaurants in walking distance and the restaurant on site has a BEAUTIFUL view with lots of food options. If your headed to Baltimore this is a great option.
