Great high standard airport hotel managing to retain a bit more soul than your average airport hotel. I took an executive room and definitely felt that the upgrade was worth it for the executive lounge. Only negative was the gym and pool area which was incredibly run down and dirty.

Just the right hotel to stay in before flying back to Canada. Front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly- always a nice way to end a trip abroad. If you are staying here perhaps just ask if you will be close to the service elevators- we didn’t know it, at the time, but these elevators are not overly quiet. We were right beside these elevators (room 5036 I think) - other than that- comfy beds, lots of space and a place I’d return to. It cost 10 pounds to take the van (you pre-book on a check in machine in the lobby) Back to Heathrow terminal. I picked the time and there were zero issues- was at the airport in ten minutes.

Unfortunately, we stayed here twice, about a month apart. Both times the pool was quite cold (not sure if that's normal or not, but the staff at the pool area made mention to us about how cold it was, so assume it isn't normally) and also the hot tub was out of action both times. Sauna and Steam Room didn't seem to get very hot, either. Other than that, which was part of the main reason we booked the accommodation, it was pretty good. Rooms were nice, nice restaurant and bar area with reasonable prices, easy access to / from Heathrow Airport on public buses. Staff were all super friendly! Would happily stay again, but be nice if the pool area facilities were all operating properly.

It was a good stay. But I'm surprised and disappointed that an airport hotel doesn't have a free shuttle tot he airport. I understand that there may be some local laws I'm not aware of--but the hotel could do a better job of lettering guests know what the best and cheapest options are.
